Your Move Is Not Complete Until

You Have Let God Make Your House His Home

If you believe in the Bible as the word of God and are interested in spiritual matters, then please allow us to introduce ourselves.

We are a church composed of a group of people who are drawn together for work and worship by a common faith in Jesus Christ and by a mutual respect for His holy word.

We wear no religious name but that of Christian. We simply try to follow the teachings of the New Testament as fully as we know how.

We consider Christ to be the only acceptable head of the church. We have no denominational affiliation and no earthly headquarters. Under Christ, and directed solely by His word, we are free to study, teach and work as our conscience directs.

We deplore the divisions among believers in Christ, and we try to work and pray for the elimination of all human creeds, rituals and names that form barriers to unity.

The work and worship of the church is according to the teaching and example of the New Testament.

Therefore, we participate in the Lord's Supper each first day of the week. We praise God by singing together and praying to Him. Giving is done only the first day of the week, and is a free will offering and not a matter of taxation.

Our preaching and teaching is taken directly from the pages of the Bible and we strive to give scriptural references for what we teach and practice.

We believe the church is God's creation (Matthew 16:18 ), and we are simply trying to be "The house of the living God, the pillar and ground of truth" (1 Timothy 3:15 ). Our hope is the eternal home in heaven (John 14:1-3). Our plea is: Speak where the Bible speaks; be silent where the Bible is silent. Our invitation is, "Come and let us reason together" (Isaiah 1:18 ). All people of good will are welcome at every assembly.

At the South Boone Church of Christ you will find a group of friendly people who love God and one another.

We are simply trying to restore Christianity as we read of such in the New Testament. Please feel free to come visit us and investigate for yourself!

As a visitor you will not be singled out for public attention, nor will you be made to feel uncomfortable.
